Comparison between english and french coins of the 1900's


Here are below the french and english coins by the beginning of the twentieth century. comment: the size of coins is approximately the same even though they are not identical. the common coins were in silver and in bronze.

the most different coins in diameter are not shown here. the english crown and half-crown are missing, so are the five francs coin, the twenty-five centimes in cupronickel, and the tiny coins of twenty centimes in silver.
