* A Victoria jubilee head type exists as well, from 1888 to 1993, but the royal profile of these years is very ugly, so I am not willing to see that in my collection. The legend on the Victorian coins is most of the time (with abbreviations) VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIARUM REGINA FIDEI DEFENSOR, that means Victoria by the grace of God Queen of the British and defender of faith.
